Come to the Fair!

Annual General Meeting and New Operating By-law

Updated: Oct 30 19
 Created: Oct 30 19

A membership meeting of Killaloe Craft and Community Fair will be held Sunday November 24 at 10 am at the Killaloe Friendship Club, 12 Lake St. in Killaloe.

The meeting will vote on adoption of KCCF's proposed operating by-law.  You can see more information about the by-law, including the full text, here.

The meeting will also conduct normal membership business such as election of directors to the Fair Board and receipt of financial reports.

In order to vote at this meeting, you must be a member of the Fair.  If you have renewed your membership at or since the last AGM in June of 2018, you are still a member.  If you want to become a member, you must submit your membership form at least 10 days before the meeting; so the deadline for membership forms is November 14.  You can find the online membership form here.

The Human Rights

The line-up of performers for the 2019 Fair is taking shape.

On Friday evening on the main stage you can hear Rube BrosSagelee and The Salt Cellars featuring the singer/songwriter duo Rob Bersan and Virginia deCarle.

Friday finishes up with Slimmoore and the Newsoulproject, an Ottawa-based Soul / Reggae / RnB group.  Here's their FB page.

On Saturday afternoon, the Day Stage features mostly mellow music, with some higher-energy variety.

Headlining Saturday on the Main Stage we have The Human Rights a 10-piece band with a unique style of uplifting, ultraheavy, new roots reggae.  Check out their music here or listen to them here.

Also on Saturday, The Justin Alexander Trio fuses traditional blues and 60's inspired rock with elements with Funk, Latin, Jazz/Reggae.  Check out their YouTube channel.

The Pixie Hix, Felicity, Rachel and Emma,  are a trio of scarf knitting, guitar picking country loving ladies formed in the likeness of Emmlyou, Linda and Dolly.  Emilyn Stam and John David Williams bring a sampling of original and traditional instrumental music.
